PLAY

SMASH 2022 will consist of Round Robin-style play officiated by two SPiN Pros with two brackets - the main "Champion" bracket and a secondary "Losers" bracket.

TEAMS

Tournament Teams will be composed of A/D, Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturers, and affiliated vendors. Each team will play on behalf of a pre-approved charity of its choosing.

BENEFITING CHARITIES

Each Tournament Team will play on behalf of a charity. After the event, Henricksen will donation to the preferred charity for the following:

• Champion Bracket Winner
• Losers Bracket Winner
• Spirit Award Winner for best team outfit

Health + Safety

Henricksen + SPiN Chicago will have measures and protocols to address any city, state, or CDC requirements and guidelines in effect in May 2022 and provide attendees with a high level of comfort in attending SMASH 2022. These measures may include requiring registrants to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter the event and the use of masks. Updates and details will be provided.

Optimized air filtration and circulation

• SPiN has upgraded the facility's air handling equipment and implemented recommendations for indoor air quality and air filtration. Additional information is available upon request.

Enhanced cleaning protocols

• SPiN employs aggressive cleaning protocols using approved products and protocols from public health agencies. These protocols include nightly cleaning and disinfecting high-touch items like paddles, balls, and tables.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the facility.

Event measures

• Covid screening (proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 72 hours of the show) may be required for all participants. Please check back for updates and details.
• Low contact registration.
• Masks required for entry to the facility.
• Event capacity will be managed to allow for social distancing comfort.
